Hosted by Vic Strecher, PhD—author, professor, and Kumanu founder—PurposeCast features in-depth conversations with thought leaders and changemakers who share the latest science and personal stories about purpose in their work, life and communities.

Emily Falk, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and an expert in the neuroscience of communication and behavior change. She leads the Communication Neuroscience Lab and advises organizations on how messages spread, drive action, and foster connection.

Ari Weinzweig

CEO and Co-founder, Zingerman's Community of Businesses

In 1982, Ari Weinzweig, along with his partner Paul Saginaw, founded Zingerman’s Delicatessen with a $20,000 bank loan, a Russian History degree from the University of Michigan, 4 years of experience washing dishes, cooking and managing in restaurant kitchens and chutzpah from his hometown of Chicago. Ethan Kross, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Michigan and director of the Emotion & Self-Control Laboratory. An award-winning psychologist, he is the author of the bestsellers Chatter and Shift, exploring the science of introspection and emotion regulation to enhance wellbeing and performance.
