Speak Up and Take Action: How to Practice Meaningful Allyship

Every person has more to them than meets the eye. They are complex human beings with various social identities, access, and lived experiences. Our starting points are different, and this shows both in our personal and professional lives. This diversity of background is one of our greatest strengths as it positions each of us to be an ally to others.

When we act in ways that foster belonging, the benefits of our diverse backgrounds and lived experiences can manifest. Being an ally is one way that we can have a meaningful impact on those around us. In this PurposeCast, Vic Strecher and Greg Braylock, Chief DE&I Officer at ProMedica will deep dive into allyship in the workplace: What is our role and responsibility to others? How can we recognize instances where we have privilege and power and use that to change the trajectory of the moment? How can we actively promote and advance a culture of inclusion through intentional, positive, and conscious efforts that uplift those who may be oppressed or marginalized?

Join us for a conversation exploring allyship and belonging and how you can use your voice to elevate others in the unique ways each of us has.
