Happy Holidays from our families to yours!

2021 sure wasn’t boring. Here at Kumanu, we’ve felt the stop-start nature of life during a pandemic like everyone else. We’ve been fortunate to attend live events but also had to readjust and scale back our plans for the office. The uncertainty is taking a toll on everyone, and an area of focus for us going into 2022 is burnout. Prevention and recovery from burnout are critical needs right now, and it takes a culture to support those needs. In fact, our latest analyses indicate that individuals who are “low” on the Kumanu PCI (Purposeful Culture Index) metric are 3X more likely to be burned out as those who are “high.” Furthermore, individuals who are “high” in the metric, are twice as likely to stay with your organization. Much more to come on the Kumanu PCI and burnout in January. Stay tuned!

Until then, we hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season, no matter how you choose to celebrate. If you’re feeling lonely, please reach out to others. If you’re fortunate enough to be with loved ones, be sure to reach out to those less fortunate and share the spark.
